Shocking Footage Shows Worker Testing Up To 10,000 Vapes A Day In Factory

Well, consider the situation of a man who must test up to 10,000 vapes daily on an assembly line.

Interestingly, the popularity of vapes continues to skyrocket. A recent CDC study indicated that the monthly sales of e-cigarettes soared by 46.6 percent from January 2020 through December 2022.

The process might surprise you more than you expect.

When the YouTube channel Machina traveled to one of the leading disposable vape factories in Baoan, Shenzhen, China, they were taken aback by what they discovered.
During their visit, they learned about the extensive methods these factories use to mass-produce vape products.

They explored everything from the inner mechanics to the testing procedures.
However, the most unusual part came last.

The documentary captures the different stages of testing that disposable vapes undergo.

Initially, the vapes undergo a pressure test that forces air from the bottom, enabling vapor to escape through the mouthpiece.
The next stage involves a suction tube that mimics the action of a user inhaling from the vape.

But the third stage is somewhat odd.

In the footage, you see a worker with numerous vapes in one hand, and he tests each by taking a puff with his own mouth to ensure they function correctly.

Even the filmmakers were puzzled, unsure if the tests were to assess the mechanisms or the flavor quality.

When questioned about how many vapes he tests each day, the man stated it ranges from 8,000 to 10,000 and mentioned he also smokes outside of work hours.

This video sparked considerable interest among vape users, who took to Reddit to express their thoughts on the necessity of one person smoking so many vapes for his job.

One commenter noted: “Do you also smoke after work? Yeah, otherwise I get too much blood in my nicotine system.”

Another remarked: “So you’re telling me every vape we buy has been smoked by a stoned Chinese pink smurf.”

Yet another added: “I feel so bad for that tester dude, that can’t be good for his health.”
And someone else mentioned: “That dude literally smokes 24/7.”

Indeed, taking 10,000 puffs from vapes every day is an extraordinarily high number.
According to the electronic vape company, each vape, containing 10ml of nicotine juice, offers about 3000 puffs.

Therefore, this worker ends up smoking over three entire vapes each day while on the job.
