Trump Goes Off on Zelensky: ‘He Can Have Peace’ or Lose ‘the Whole Country’

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, attributing the impasse in peace negotiations with Russia to him in a passionate message on his Truth Social platform.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proudly declared on the front page of The Wall Street Journal that, ‘Ukraine will not legally acknowledge the occupation of Crimea. There is nothing to discuss here.’ This assertion poses a significant threat to the Peace Negotiations with Russia, as Crimea was ceded years ago during President Barack Hussein Obama’s administration and is not even a subject for negotiation, Trump stated.

There is no expectation for Zelenskyy to acknowledge Crimea as part of Russia; however, if he desires Crimea, one must question why there was no effort to reclaim it eleven years ago when it was transferred to Russia without resistance.

The region has also been home to significant Russian submarine bases for many years prior to the ‘Obama handover.’ Such provocative remarks from Zelenskyy complicate the resolution of this conflict. .

He has little to take pride in! The circumstances for Ukraine are critical—he can choose peace or continue fighting for another three years, ultimately risking the loss of the entire nation.

While I have no ties to Russia, I am deeply concerned about the lives of approximately five thousand Russian and Ukrainian soldiers lost weekly for no valid reason. Zelenskyy’s recent comments will only serve to extend the ‘killing field,’ which is undesirable for all parties involved. We are on the verge of reaching an agreement, yet the individual with ‘no cards to play’ must finally take decisive action.

I am eager to assist both Ukraine and Russia in extricating themselves from this complete and utter chaos, which would not have escalated had I been in office! Furthermore, I expressed my discontent regarding the Russian attacks on Kyiv, deeming them unnecessary and poorly timed.

Vladimir, it is imperative that you cease these actions! The loss of five thousand soldiers weekly is unacceptable. Let us finalize the peace agreement! In early March, Zelenskyy met with Trump and Vice President JD Vance in the Oval Office, which was anticipated to lead to an announcement regarding a cease-fire with Russia and a rare earth minerals agreement with the U.S.

However, the meeting devolved into chaos when Zelenskyy seemed to hesitate and admonish the U.S. leaders for not providing sufficient aid. Shortly thereafter, Trump criticized the Ukrainian leader for suggesting that peace with Russia was ‘very far away,’ cautioning Zelenskyy that America would ‘not tolerate this situation for much longer.’

This represents a significant moment in the annals of American diplomacy, as President Trump and JD Vance advocated for American interests on the global stage. President Trump defended the American populace after years of exploitation and neglect, evoking a profound sense of pride among millions of Americans as they witnessed him assertively address Zelenskyy.
